HARRISBURG – Rep. Tim Twardzik (R-Schuylkill) voiced his concerns about the governor’s historic spending proposal for the current fiscal year in the following statement:
“Quite frankly, the democrats’ proposed spending requests reflect a true travesty in the Commonwealth,” said Twardzik. “With a record-breaking $43.7 billion price tag, the Wolf administration is more focused on how it could spread around our state’s general funds now with no regard to how this spending spree will affect our state’s finances in the future. It is imperative that during this budget process we remain cognizant of the fact that it is our responsibility to handle taxpayer dollars with care and not spend beyond our means.”
